Cape Town - Table Mountain Cableway’s Kidz Season special provides parents with the perfect school holiday activity to get the family outdoors and enjoy our natural wonder.

Until October 31, 2014 two children travel free of charge when an adult return ticket is purchased over weekends, public and school holidays.

The ride to the top of the mountain, 1 067m above sea level, is an adventurous treat and children are provided with a treasure hunt map, which encourages exploration of one of the most diverse floral kingdoms in the world.

Kidz Season sees two kids under 18 years ride for free (normal child rate R110) when an adult return ticket is purchased from the Ticket Office over weekends, as well as on public and school holidays. The price is R225 per adult return ticket and the special is only valid on return fares.

When purchasing the Kidz Season tickets from the Ticket Office children will receive treasure hunt maps. Printed on these maps are two vouchers: one to receive a sweet treat from the Shop at the Top and the other for a Dassie Biscuit from the Café when they hand in the vouchers.

The Café will also offer a Kidz Season Café special that includes a Dassie Pizza Slice, 250ml juice and a marshmallow kebab at R40 per child.

Kids can also take pictures with the 3D Kidz Season superstars, Dale the Dassie, Larry the Lizard and Phumi the Protea when they exit the Top Station area.

The Cableway operates weather permitting. For information visit www.tablemountain.net or call (021) 424 8181.
