2014 will mark Busabout's second official season in South Africa and this vibey orange brand just keeps growing from strength to strength.

Darsha Soobramoney, brand manager for Busabout, sums up the zeitgeist that sees this brand soaring to new levels of success. “It's our freestyle attitude, filled to the brim with vitality that makes Busabout what it is, and our 2014 season is crammed with amazing experiencing including two new offerings.”

“And this freestyle travel appeals to a wide range of travellers. Statistics show that up to 65 percent of all Busabout travellers are first timers, while 70 percent of clients are solo travellers, proving that this brand offers the ideal platform for newies and solos” continues Darsha.

New for 2014 is the Greek Sailing through the sparkling waters of the Mediterranean on board a luxury yacht and a saucy new festival that is sure to be on everyone's lips - La Batalla del Vino - the Wine Battle.

Greek Sailing

Board a luxury yacht and visit Aegina, Hydra, Koiladhia Bay, Nafplio, Spetses and Poros along the way. With a skipper to take you from Athens this is a journey along ancient trade routes to places of natural beauty and history. Relax in little fishing villages over a beer and great seafood or sun worship on the quiet beaches nearby.

La Batalla del Vino

The world's largest tomato fight is said to be very messy but the new festival on offer might just top it. In late June, the village of Haro, Spain celebrates this unique festival in style. Instead of drinking and savouring red wine, the people of La Rioja region prefer to splash it all over the place and everyone gets wet, sticky and they all turn into a beautiful shade of purple. Revellers gather where wine pours onto the crowd and the whole town gets to frolic in wine!

Busabout's two sister brands are Shamrocker Adventures and Haggis Adventures and together all three brands cover Europe, England, Wales, Scotland, Ireland and Northern Ireland.
