Tokyo - Japan is considered one of the most high-tech countries in the world, but the nation lacks Wi-Fi hotspots for tourists.

That will change soon as the government plans to build 45 000 hotspots throughout the country.

Tourists will only have to show their passports when entering the country at the airport and they will receive a pass for 14 days of free internet access.
