Hamburg - Danish and international artists will offer works to sensitise visitors to the culture and natural beauties of Denmark's western mudflats at this year's Wadden Sea Festival, which takes place between September 4 and 7 in south-west Jutland.

Festival locations range from Varde in the north to Tonder in the south.

Sights will include sculptures and art installations.

Visitors can also enjoy music, poetry, theatre, contemporary art and performances celebrating the special charm of a place where the brids cry, the sky is often overcast and the wind blows hard.

The Wadden Sea Festival is a bi-annual event organised by the regions next to the shallow region of the North Sea. - Sapa-dpa
