Popular Lesedi FM presenter Thuso Motaung has been arrested again, police said on Thursday.

Superintendent Lungelo Dlamini said the presenter was arrested in Bloemfontein on Wednesday.

Police were unable to provide further details.

Motaung was expected to appear in the commercial crimes court in Johannesburg on Thursday morning, Dlamini said.

Motaung, 47, his wife Mmamontha Motaung, 39, who is also a Lesedi FM presenter, and business partner Joshua Ramme were arrested in December on 17 charges, including corruption, fraud, money-laundering and copyright infringement.

They are accused of defrauding the SABC of R32-million in a number of business transactions over several years.

They also allegedly contravened contractual obligations for the marketing of products on air and allegedly illegally used the Lesedi FM logo on the packaging of a product they were promoting.

The Johannesburg Specialised Commercial Crimes Court granted the Motaungs and Ramme bail of R100 000 each during an appearance last year. - Sapa
