Johannesburg – The Gordon Institute of Business Science
(GIBS) has illustrated key aspects of the budget in Lego.
This follows Finance Minister Pravin Gordhan’s
presentation to parliament on Wednesday of a budget that many have called
transformative.
The budget, unsurprisingly, resulted in higher sin taxes
and an increased fuel levy.
It also imposed a 45 percent tax rate on those earning more
than R1.5million a year, while lowering the tax free range for those at the
bottom end of the scale.
