Adcock Ingram’s chief executive had resigned in a widely expected move after the drug maker’s biggest shareholder signalled it wanted a leadership change, the company said yesterday. Jonathan Louw, who had been at helm since 2008, leaves with immediate effect. He is the latest top official to step down after the firm’s biggest shareholder, Bidvest, helped to oust chairman Khotso Mokhele in February. The shares fell 1.15 percent to close at R58.32 yesterday. – Reuters
