Johannesburg - Old Mutual has appointed Jonas Mushosho, who has been with the company for the past 26 years and is currently the regional chief executive of Old Mutual Southern and East Africa, as chief executive for Rest of Africa with immediate effect.

The group announced Mushosho’s appointment on Thursday, adding it was in line with its vision to become a financial services champion in Africa.

The group said that with its growing presence in Africa, it believed the time was right to return its businesses in the rest of Africa under one overall structure that would unlock more opportunities for growth.
