JOHANNESBURG - JSE-LISTED retailer Steinhoff Africa Retail (STAR) announced that its shareholders had approved the name change to Pepkor Holdings.
The group said the special resolution for the change of name was accepted and placed on file by the Companies and Intellectual Property Commission.
The group will trade under the STAR name until August 15 and the new name Pepkor Holdings will be effective on August 20.
The group said that the new share certificates would be issued to certificated shareholders on August 20 as well.
