A probe into alleged maladministration in the SA Post Office is nearly completed, the Public Protector's office said on Friday.
The final findings were expected to be delivered in September.
The Communication Workers Union (CWU) lodged a complaint about the Post Office in April 2011.
An investigation team from the Protector met union representatives on Wednesday to discuss the latest findings.
The union previously criticised Thuli Madonsela's office for not acting rapidly on the matter. - Sapa
