Siemens staff commemorate #MandelaDay

JOHANNESBURG - On 18 July 2018, hundreds of Siemens employees will be enabled to find their ‘inner Madiba’ as they work together to engage and aid their communities.

Sabine Dall’Omo, CEO of Siemens South Africa, said, “Companies need to look beyond the bottom line, the supply of their products and services; they must consider the impact of their business on society at large.”

Youthspace 

One of Siemens' flagship CSR programmes, Youthspace provides a safe home environment for vulnerable children in Mayfair, Johannesburg. Employees are getting their hands dirty with general cleaning & repairs.

SPCA Cycle

The Midrand branch of the SPCA cares for a large number of cats and dogs. Siemens employees are donating food, blankets and toys as well as participating in a group cycle at The Red Barn in Irene. 

Unica School

This school in Pretoria provides education for learners with Autism. Siemens volunteers will be donating their time to assist in general maintenance and clean-up of the school.

Bulamahlo Children's Home

The Bulamahlo Childrens Home in Tembisa cares for abandoned or orphaned children aged from new born babies to teenagers. Join the Siemens group who will be doing general clean-up and maintenance work at the home.

Duvha Primary School

The Siemens team are partnering with Eskom employees from Duvha power station to hand out winter jackets to local learners.
