Electronics: Purchase boosts revenue at Ellies

Ellies' growth in revenue for the year to April surged to R977 million from R702m on the back of the acquisition of Megatron Federal, the maker of television reception products said yesterday. AltX-listed Ellies acquired the power generation and distribution equipment supplier for R180m last June. Sales remained buoyant with the demand for satellite television unhindered.
