THE Independent Communications Authority of SA (Icasa) would reduce the cost of terminating calls on mobile networks at a slower rate than previously announced after opposition from the biggest operators, Vodacom Group said yesterday. Mobile termination rates will fall 20 percent to 16c from March, it said. That compares with 15c announced in January. The rates will fall to 12c from March 2016, compared with 10c in the first proposal, and to 8c a year later, Icasa said. – Bloomberg
