Johannesburg - The era of abundant portfolio flows to emerging markets appears to be over and the outlook for that region is fragile, South Africa's central bank governor Gill Marcus said on Tuesday.

Marcus said she did not believe a recession was the most likely outcome for the struggling domestic economy, adding however that the impact of a crippling platinum strike had not yet been fully reflected in export data. - Reuters
