Johannesburg - Namibia's economic growth slowed to 1.6 percent year-on-year, in the first quarter of the year, from 4.9 percent in the last three months of 2013, the statistics office said on Thursday.
The Namibia Statistics Agency said inflation quickened to 6.1 percent year-on-year in May from 5.9 percent in April, but slowed to 0.3 percent on a month-on-month basis, from 1 percent in April. - Reuters
