Relief on way for motorists

THE PRICE of 95 and 93 petrol would drop by 45 cents a litre from Wednesday, the Energy Department said on Friday. The wholesale price of diesel of 0.05 percent sulphur will fall 61c a litre and diesel 0.005 percent sulphur would decrease 60c a litre, the department said. A major factor influencing the fuel prices was that the average rand/dollar exchange rate weakened relative to the previous month. – Sapa
