President Jacob Zuma on Sunday night reversed his decision to appoint David van Rooyen minister of finance and appointed former finance minister Pravin Gordhan back in charge of the National Treasury instead.

Speaking to IOL on Sunday, Gordhan said he regards it as his responsibility to serve and to help the country onto a path of economic growth and recovery. - African News Agency (ANA)
