CAPE TOWN - Zimbabwean businessman, entrepreneur and philanthropist and Chairman of Econet Group, Strive Masiyiwa launches a $100 000 competition for entrepreneurs across the world.

This is Africa's biggest competition for entrepreneurs yet.
Entrepreneurs face many critical factors which decisively determine the success of their business or non-profit organisation.
Funding and mentorship are some of the crucial factors to building a successful business which gives a venture the start it needs to prosper.
This competition calls on all driven and ambitious entrepreneurs who are seeking financial injection, exposure and who wants to learn from one of the best entrepreneurs in the industry.
On Friday, 18 August, Mr Masiyiwa launched the official Kwesé Inc competition called #GoGettaz, a challenge currently available at win.kwese.com
The competition awards the winning entrepreneur with $100 000 USD
toward a business venture - for profit or non-profit and a two week trip with Mr Masiyiwa as “Kwesé Entrepreneur Fellows” at the Kwesé offices in South Africa.
The prize will be awarded to two deserving entrepreneurs: 1 male and 1 female.
The contestants require an ongoing venture which they intend to formally register, should they win the grand prize.
Therefore, an already-registered business is not a prerequisite to qualify for the competition.
Steps to compete for the grand prize
- Contestants will need to successfully complete four quizzes in order to remain in the running and stand a chance to win the GRAND PRIZE.
- A new quiz will be set up each Friday at 12pm

You have until Friday, 1 September to enter the first of the four quizzes, and be in the running for a chance at what promises to be a life changing experience for the winners.
The last quiz will be posted on Friday, 15 September, and Stage One of the competition will close on Friday 22 September.
Entrants must complete the first quiz by the 1 September deadline, to access the three quizzes that follow, and to be eligible for the grand prize.
Contestants with the highest overall scores for all four quizzes will be entered into a prize pool, and 10 deserving contestants will progress to Stage Two of the competition, where they will get a chance to pitch their ventures on video and compete for the grand prize.
