Facebook has made it harder to remove your updates from the site

CAPE TOWN - Recently, on Facebook, it appears to be impossible to delete your posts while using the desktop site.

Clicking the menu button in the top-right corner of posts only brings up the following options: Save post, Edit post, Turn off notifications for this post and Show in the tab.

The delete option is nowhere to be seen.

It has been suggested that it could be a temporary bug as many users say they’ve experienced the problem.

It is a common occurrence when users publish things on Facebook that they may later wish they hadn’t.

Having removed the ability to delete them may create a recipe for disaster.

Luckily, it isn't completely gone and it’s still possible to delete your update from the Facebook app and mobile site.

It’s not just you…!

...Facebook seems to have removed the “Delete post’ option
