FRANKFURT - Manufacturing and electronics company Siemens lost the most among the blue chips, down by 2.81 percent, followed by personal-care company Beiersdorf and health care company Fresenius SE, which lost 1.54 percent and 1.10 percent respectively. 

German banking and financial services provider Commerzbank, industrial giant Thyssenkrupp and energy group RWE were the top three winners, rising 2.21 percent, 1.36 percent and 0.83 percent respectively. Siemens was the most traded share of the day with a turnover of 456.42 million euros (541.13 million U.S. dollars)
