A Chinese court has rejected the appeal of a dairy boss sentenced to life in prison for her role in the 2008 milk scandal that made hundreds of thousands of babies ill.
The Xinhua News Agency said on Thursday the People's High Court in Hebei province had upheld the original verdict on Tian Wenhua, general manager and chairwoman of the now-defunct Sanlu Group.
Wenhua was convicted in January of producing and selling fake and substandard products. - Sapa-AP
