Fourth internet conference expecting 1500 visitors

INTERNATIONAL - China will host the Fourth World Internet Conference from December 3 to 5 in Wuzhen, east China’s Zhejiang Province, according to Ren Xianliang, deputy director of the Cyberspace Administration of China.

Ren told a press conference that 1500 guests from around the world, including heads of international organisations, leading figures in the internet area, online celebrities, and academics will attend the summit.

The event would focus on the digital economy, openness and sharing, to jointly build an online community of shared future, he said. The summit will include details of new scientific and technological achievements and exhibitions.
