Top 10 highest paid TV actresses took in $168 billion

DURBAN - Forbes has released their list of the Highest Paid TV Actresses for 2018 and Sofia Vergara has continued her reign at the top spot for the seventh year in a row.

Vergara is followed by Kaley Cuoco from The Big Bang Theory and Ellen Pompeo who has the number three spot.

The top five is completed by Mariska Hargitay from long-running TV show Law and Order: SVU while Vergara's Modern Family castmate Jule Bowen completes the top five.

Pompeo has starred on hit TV show Grey's Anatomy for 15 seasons which allowed her to negotiate a large upfront fee, a cut of the backend and producer fee on spinoff Station 19.

The ten Highest Paid TV Actresses earned a combined $168.5 million between June 1st, 2017 and June 1st, 2018. That amount has increased from 2017 which stood at $156,5 million.

Also featured on the list Cuoco's co-stars from The Big Bang Theory Mayim Bialik and Melissa Rauch who tied for the number 6 spot. They are the only two newcomers on the list.
