Subaru Southern Africa on Tuesday announced Rui Silva as its new Managing Director.
Silva officially took the helm on July 1, from Kazunori Suzuki who has headed up Subaru Southern Africa since 2013. Prior to his appointment, Silva was Chief Operations Officer.
Silva said: "Subaru Southern Africa is at a pivotal point, with outstanding new product & technology released, and high levels of customer satisfaction & passion for the brand. In addition, we have an enthusiastic and a thriving dealer network that is wanting of a broader customer base. With this renewed energy, our shareholder and manufacturer are steadfast in further investments into our market. This all bodes well for our mandate of delivering superior confidence in all that we do for our customers".
Subaru Southern Africa launched the all-new Subaru Impreza and XV model range, together with the debut of its award-winning driver assist technology called Eyesight this year.
