CAPE TOWN- Siri is a built-in "intelligent assistant" that enables users of Apple iPhone 4S and later and newer iPad and iPod Touch devices to speak voice commands in order to operate the mobile device and  apps.

Here are 5 uses of Siri that you may not know it can do:

1. Mathematical Equations

Siri can do Maths. Siri can also convert currencies and do measurements. Just ask Siri, 84-32 and it will do the rest.  Ask Siri to solve problems by saying “What is [math question]”.

2.  Decision Making

Siri aids decision making by you asking her to flip a coin, roll a dice or pick a number. Ask her any of these phrases whenever you can't seem to make up your mind.

3.  Indentifying Music

When you hear a song on the radio, you don't need another application or a friend to help you figure out the name of the song. Just ask Siri and she will indentify it for you.

4. Facebook and Twitter

Siri can send tweets for you and Facebook posts for you. Just ask Siri to post to [Twitter or Facebook]. Siri then asks what you’d like to say. Dictate your post, then send when Siri confirms your message.

5. Find Airplanes Above You

You can easily check the status of a flight by asking Siri and including the flight number. However, another fun thing Siri can do is give information on planes above you right now.
