Investment holding group South Ocean Holdings increased revenue 5.5 percent to R652.8 million for the six months to June and grew its headline earnings a share by 8.3 percent to 11.7c, compared with previous first-half results. It said yesterday that its two major units experienced mixed fortunes. South Ocean Electric Wire Company increased revenue by 10.4 percent to R494.4m, while Radiant Group reported a 7.2 percent drop in revenue to R158.4m, due to depressed market conditions. – Staff Reporter
