The Statistician-General of South Africa, Dr Pali Lehohla, will release the Accommodation industry, Food and beverages, Motor and Retail, as well as the Wholesale trade industry reports at a media briefing to be held on Thursday, 26 October 2017 in Pretoria.
These are periodic surveys of private and public enterprises registered for value-added tax (VAT) and presents estimates of the 2015 (Wholesale trade, Retail trade, Motor trade, accommodation and food and beverages, industry large sample survey (LSS).
The briefing will also reflect on the Producer Price Index, Export and Import Unit Value Indices and Contract Price Adjustment Provisions (CPAP) Work Groups and Selected Material Indices.
