CAPE TOWN – Apple has issued an update to iOS 12.0.1, which fixes several bugs that have plagued iPhone XS and XS Max users since the phones were released.

Recently, users on Reddit and Apple’s forums have taken to the platforms to complain and discuss the issue when they want to charge their devices.

When they tried to insert the charger into the device’s port while the display was off, it would not automatically begin charging.

According to Apple, The update should fix other issues such as the reported poor Wi-Fi reception compared to their previous iPhone X devices when using their devices in their homes.

It should also resolve the widespread issue of iPhone XS devices requiring to be unlocked before recognizing the Lightning cable charger.

The iOS 12.0.1 update is available to download in:

1.  Settings —> General —> Software Update on your iPhone or iPad.
