London - Embattled Nokia has called off legal action against rival HTC after settling and signing a new technology deal.

Taiwanese HTC had been accused of using the phone-maker’s patents in one of its smartphones. Though HTC will make payments to Nokia, no financial details were disclosed, but analysts said the move paved the way for future collaboration between the two companies.
