DURBAN - Multimedia messaging app Snapchat has added a new feature so that you and 15 of your friends can chat on one video call.
The app made the announcement on the Snapchat news site.
According to the statement, Snapchat users can use Lenses, join only with their voices or send messages that others can read while they talk during the video call.
Members of the app can also tag each other by their username using the @ symbol in their posts.
The new video call feature will be rolling out to all Snapchat users globally this week.
Snapchat has also let Giphy back on to the platform after it was taken out because users found a racist GIF on the database according to The Verge.
Social media platform Instagram also removed Giphy from its platform, but it was allowed back last week with stricter moderation.
Snapchat confirmed this week that they were bringing back Giphy since it has upgraded its moderation.
Giphy also apologised for the blunder and said that they have gone through their database to check for any other problematic GIFs.
Some of the other cool features that Snapchat have released this year include Bitmoji Deluxe and Explore on Snap Map.
Bitmoji Deluxe is a new style that has hundreds of new ways to customise your Bitmoji.
It has extra skin tones, hairstyles, hair colours, facial features, accessories and more to help you create your own Bitmoji.
Users can also snap a quick selfie to inspire your Bitmoji creation.
Explore on Snap Map helps Snapchat users to catch up with their friends and see what the are doing across the world.
Explore updates will automatically appear when friends take a road trip, fly to a new destination, visit a landmark or attend a festival.
