CAPE TOWN - YouTube Kids, the company’s child-friendly app, has received a whole new update with new features. \
Two years after it launched, YouTube Kids now has a refreshed design, along with profiles for your children that now allow you to monitor and customise the viewing experience for your children.

The app will also change based on the your age of your child.
The new features consist of:
1. It is now designed for the age of your child, so It has less text for younger kids and more text for older ones.
2.The new setup process to make it easier for parents to restrict content.
3.The app will also allow kids to set their own pass codes. However, Parents can always override the security measure.
The company says YouTube Kids has recieved up over 70 billion views and has 11 million active weekly viewers in 37 countries.
Kid profiles are available in the following markets:
South Africa, Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Canada, Chile, Colombia, Ghana, India, Jamaica, Japan, Kenya, Malaysia, Mexico, Nepal, New Zealand, Nigeria, Pakistan, Peru, Philippines, Singapore, South Korea, Sri Lanka, Tanzania, Uganda, United States, Zimbabwe.
