A shorter route, a host of activities and even a treasure hunt.
While most riders are looking forward to the Cape Argus Pick n Pay Cycle Tour, the younger cyclists will probably prefer the event’s miniature counterpart.
The Tricycle and Junior Tour will take place on March 9 at the Youngsfield Military Base in Wynberg.
The tricycle event is open to children between the ages of two and six. The starting times for toddlers are 8.30am and 9.30am, with children between the ages of four and six setting off at 10.30am.
The Junior Tour is open to youngsters between the ages of six and 12.
Parents with bikes are welcome to join in too.
Registration will take place between March 1 and 8 at the Canal Walk Shopping Centre, Pick n Pay Court from 9am to 9pm and at the Cape Argus Lifecycle Expo on March 7 and 8 at the Good Hope Centre.
