Cape Town - GrandWest officially comes of age this month, and what better way to celebrate than with 90 minutes of singing and dancing with award-winning entertainer Emo Adams and the Take Note band at the Roxy Revue Bar.

The Grand Show will encapsulate 21 years of GrandWest magic in 21 shows run over 21 days, from December 15 through to January 9.

There will be no shows on Mondays or on December 24 and 25 or between January 1 and 3.

On Saturdays there will be shows at 5pm and 8pm and on Sundays at 5pm. Two special New Year’s Eve shows have been planned.

Adams said: “I am really excited about this extravaganza. It will be my first time back on stage with the Take Note band in five years, so you can expect we are going to bring a lekker jol with hits, energy, jokes and a few surprises. It’s the perfect way to end this crazy year.”

The audience will recognise some familiar faces in the band led by bass player and musical director Sean De Vries.

Other members include Shaun Francke on electric and acoustic guitars, Marco Mentoor on piano and keyboards and Lance Rhoda on drums and percussion.

To comply with Covid-19 regulations, only be 60 tickets per show will be sold, so book early. Patrons should arrive early, have their ID numbers and will be screened for Covid-19 on arrival.

Tickets prices vary and are available at Quicket.co.za.
