Cape Town - Pick n Pay Smart Shopper members will soon be able to earn points when they refuel at BP service stations.
The points can be earned at both the pump and in BP’s forecourt Pick n Pay Express convenience store from Wednesday. It’s also announced enhancements to the loyalty programme, which includes the ability to use Smart Shopper points directly at the store’s till points - finally.
This means you no longer have to “switch” points to cash at the Smart Shopper kiosk or online first. Other enhancements to the programme include the introduction of the card-less swipe functionality. So if you’ve forgotten your Smart Shopper card at home, or choose to go card-less, you can now scan the QR code from the Pick n Pay mobile app at the till point.
They’ve also launched a pet, baby and wine club, where customers are offered further discounts and points. Before the end of the year, Smart Shopper customers will also be able to earn points at BP service stations when refuelling.
