Bongani Khumalo, one of the stars of Bafana Bafana's World Cup campaign, is on trial with English Premier League club, Tottenham Hotspur.
The elegant 23-year-old central defender, who plays for league champions SuperSport United in the PSL, left South Africa on Saturday and will spend a week with coach Harry Redknapp's side in London.
"He is such a fantastic player and deserves a chance to play in Europe," SuperSport's chief operations officer Jose Ferreira told kickoff.com.
Khumalo's unruffled defensive presence has been the bedrock upon which SuperSport have been so successful in the PSL.
And he transferred this form to the big stage with eye-catching performances for Bafana at the World Cup.
