South Africa has retained the Cosafa Women's Championship on Monday in Luanda, beating hosts Angola 3-1.

The win also means South Africa gets to keep the trophy after winning the title for the third consecutive competition.

It was the stunning form of striker, Noko Matlou, who netted a hat trick of the day as the Anna Monate-coached champions once again put up a solid and flawless performance.

Matlou's hot wire show brought her tally to 12 goals in five games, making her the tournament's top goalscorer. She had been voted the Player of the Match three times during the tournament.
