Sunday’s episode of SA’s Got Talent was pure fire! Acapella group, Anecnote got everyone excited with their unique rendition of Black Coffee’s hit We Dance Again.

With the highest number of public votes, the group secured their space in the grand finale.

Using just their voices, acapella group Anecnote are the only Cape Town act who have made it to the top 6 in the SA’s Got Talent final.

This Sunday, they will be competing with five other acts in the Grand Finale for their chance at winning half a million rand and being crowned the SA’s Got Talent 2017 winners.

They met three years ago while singing in the UCT choir and through their love for acapella, Anecnote was born.

Each member of the group has a different function which moulds into the unique sound that is Anecnote. The group has also released music which is available on digital platforms and have created a strong fan base, called the 'Anecfamily'.

At the Cape Town auditions held at the Baxter Theatre a few months ago, they were one of only three acts countrywide to receive “Golden Buzzers” which sent them straight through to the semi-finals.

The Grand Finale will take place at the Soweto Theatre this Sunday and broadcast live on ETV at 6PM.
