SANTANA has been around since the late 1960s, and now the band will be playing in South Africa for the first time.
Announcing the tour on Facebook, Carlos Santana said the group would play four concerts in the country next year, three in Cape Town and one in Johannesburg.
“We are very happy to announce that Santana will be playing in South Africa for the first time. Carlos & the band will playing at the Grand Arena in Cape Town on February 25, 26, and 27 and at FNB Stadium in Johannesburg on March 1. Ticket and concert info will be announced later this week. We will see you all there!,” said the post.
Big Concerts confirmed the tour of the legendary group, which pioneered a fusion of rock and Latin American music. More details to follow.
