Durban - This Sunday, on M-Net’s popular original wedding show, The Wedding Bashers, the intrepid band of Bashers continue their search for the ultimate South African wedding. Armed with their entertainment, food, décor and fashion guns, the foursome set out to rate a DIY same-sex wedding, where the order of the day is the number three!
Lovebirds Jessica and Antionette, who are both thirty three, met on September 3 and are tying the knot on the third day of the third month of the year! Keeping with their theme of lucky number three, the couple are also setting the start time of their ceremony at three o’ clock, and if everything goes according to schedule, they will say their I do’s at exactly three thirty three! The couple's fascination with threes doesn’t stop there; they also found their first home with the house number... you guessed it, 3!
The special day for the twosome has been planned for over eight months and will be taking place in a forest of the third venue they viewed, the Galagos Country Estate just outside of Pretoria. The theme of their celebration is Fall, symbolising falling in love. But what will décor-expert Zavion make of their "strictly-no-flowers" policy? And what will Zola think of their unusual choice of canapes?
It’s a numbers game this week on The Wedding Bashers, but will it all add up in Jessica and Antionette’s favour, or will their Big Day end up in the zero zone? Tune in to find out!
Viewers also stand a chance of winning a five-night getaway to Constance Ephelia Seychelles by simply visiting the M-Net website at mnet.tv/weddingbashers to rate the weddings before 10pm on Tuesday nights.
In the end, the couple that receives the best viewer rating from the Bashers top five walks off with the title of Wedding of the Season and will unwrap some amazing wedding gifts. The winning couple will take home a R250 000 cash prize from M-Net, R100 000 worth of Jewellery from Jack Friedman Jewellers, and a five-night second honeymoon from Seychelles Tourism, courtesy of Constance Ephelia Seychelles and Air Seychelles, valued at R 80 000!
