Durban - A R10 000 reward has been offered for anyone who can locate two pedigree cats that went missing in the past couple of months.

Niki Moore said she was “completely and utterly distraught” at the disappearance of her cats, Matti, in August, and Oscar, in September. She has had the cats for about four months. Moore said Oscar was a Maine Coon and Matti was a Somali breed.

“I am desperate to get them back,” said the Glenwood resident. Moore said the cats had both been micro-chipped and neutered.

They were not cats who often wandered off, she said. Moore said she had hired a private investigator, handed out flyers and made numerous trips to the SPCA. She said the cats were like her children.
