Durban - Social media site, Facebook crashed on Monday evening. Much to the disappointment and utter dismay of the hundreds of thousands who live their lives vicariously through their online personas.

But it didn't take long for word to hit the Twitter streets and the meme kings and queens to get the ball rolling!

📱When you come to @Twitter to check if @Facebook is down...

📱Everyone is encouraged to go find something else to do

📱Option A: Go outside

📱Option B: Post meme about it on twitter
