Rapper AKA has a new hit and it landed on rival Cassper Nyovest’s face.

So claims the “Doc Shebeleza” rapper who claims that AKA approached him in the early hours of this morning at a nightclub, and slapped him.

At 5am this morning: Cassper tweeted: “So @akaworldwide comes up 2 my table in a club&slaps me. You'll probably deny this like you always do but its fine. Just want u 2 know this.”

AKA responded by doing just what Cassper said he would: “This is not on. I'm a role model. A public figure. I would never do such a thing.

“THERE WAS NO FIGHT TONIGHT. I have so much to look forward to, I don't do stuff like that.”

Cassper fired back, adopting a spiritual tone: “You can slap me all you want my brother but you can never take my joy. God bless you and I love you.”

But letting go of the incident wasn’’t proving to be easy. Later Cassper posted: “A representative from Cantare nightclub confirms on #RNTLive that the incident where CassperNyovest was allegedly slapped by AKA did happen.”

He also added a video of AKA kicking and pushing a fan off stage, with the caption: “Carry on treating human beings like this and we will see where you'll end up.”

He then continued: The saddest thing is that there were other Rappers and celebs there that will never say a word when they saw what happened but it's cool.

The right thing to do is always the hardest thing to do. I'm a joke now cause I never used violence but we will see who will prosper.

Cassper finished his diatribe with: "Sometimes bad things happen 2 good people. That's just how it goes. Learning how to focus on the good. #Home #Blessed"

AKA, however, insists that there is another reason behind this new drama.

“It's no coincidence that this saga suddenly happens and there's an event around the corner that needs promotion,” he tweeted. Cassper’s #FillUpThe Dome event is happening on October 31.

The two multi-award winning rappers have been vying for top dog status in South African hip hop, and their beef has, at times, threatened to spin out of control.

In 2014, Cassper claimed that one of AKA’s “goons” pulled a gun on him backstage at the filming of the SABC 1 show Live Amp.

Later that year at the annual South African Hip Hop Awards, AKA slapped Cassper’s cap off his head.

The rapper even gloated about the incident on Twitter, writing: “The moment I smacked his fitted off his dome and he smiled and picked it up off the floor … That’s when i saw fear, and weakness.”
