David and Victoria Beckham have joined an exclusive private members club.

The couple have signed up as members at Home House in London - which costs £1,840 a year plus the same again as a signing-on fee - so the retired soccer star has someone to drink without being watched by the public.

Speaking to The Sun on Sunday, an insider said “It's more for David than Victoria, as it gives him a good place to go for a drink without prying eyes.”

Now David has called time on his sporting career, it has given him “the freedom” to enjoy a night out without having to worry about training the next morning.

The source added: “After hanging up his football boots, he's enjoying the freedom of being able to head to places like this.”

“He can have a drink or two now without worrying about getting up for training in the morning.”

Meanwhile, Victoria has asked her father to help her family move into their new £30 million home while they were away for Christmas

An insider told the Daily Star Sunday newspaper: “Victoria trusts her dad implicitly an must have wanted someone there to oversee the move in their absence and make sure everything ran smoothly.” - BANG Showbiz
