Mzansi's first official annual Dance Music Awards saw Black Coffee scooping three gongs for Best Male DJ, Best Producer and Remix of the Year.
Babes Wodumo won Best Kwaito/Gqom record award, while Lady Zamar bagged the Best Female award.
Jullian Gomes took home the Album Of The Year award for his latest album Late Dreamer.
The winners were announced at a prestigious closed ceremony in Boksburg, Ekhuruleni.

These awards were first announced to the media in July this, where fans were encouraged to nominate their top 5 favourites. This was followed by a finalist selection process, which ran for the past month online, ending last week.

An additional award 'Pioneers of House Award’, an award which pays homage and gives recognition to a legendary dance artist was also added to the list of winners.
