Hollywood is awash with powerful paedophiles who “want me dead”.

So said former child star Corey Feldman who has written a book, Coreyography: A Memoir, which details the abuse he suffered in the showbiz industry.

Feldman made an appearance on the talk show The View this week to promote his book and described Hollywood as “full of predators”, when one of the hosts Barbara Walters accused him of trashing an “entire industry”.

Feldman, who claims he was molested by an adult man at the age of 13, said: “The people who did this to me and Corey [Haim] are still in this business.... and they want me dead.”

He also claimed that the child predators he was referring to were “very powerful in the media and in the studio system”.

Feldman, who rose to prominence in the film Stand By Me, said being a child star wasn’t all it was cracked up to be.

“It's a many feathered bird. Be careful what you wish for,” he said, before warning parents against being “irresponsible” and allowing their children to be put on a pedastal.

Feldman also spoke about his friend, Lost Boys co-star Corey Haim, who he says was a fellow victim of abuse.

Haim died in 2010 at the age of 38 from pneumonia.

Feldman described Haim as a “really talented” actor who was “kicked to the curb” when Hollywood no longer wanted him. - Tonight Reporter
