London - Chris Martin admits there's "a lot of love" between him and Gwyneth Paltrow.

The Coldplay frontman, 37, insists he and his ex-wife are still "very close" following their split earlier this year but claims they haven't got back together, despite rumours, even though there are feelings between them.

Speaking on radio show 'Valentine in the Morning' on Sunday, he said: "The truth is ... well, I don't really love

talking about this stuff. But the thing we told everyone at the beginning of the year is true.

"We are very close. We are not together. But we're, you know, that's the truth and that's it. There's a lot of love. No scandal, I'm

afraid. I wish I could give you scandal."

The former couple - who announced they were "consciously uncoupling" in March after 10 years of marriage - have remained amicable since the split by regularly dining together as a family with their children Apple, 10, and Moses, nine.

However, Chris previously suggested that his "issues" were partly to blame for the breakdown of his marriage.

He said: "About two years ago I was a mess really because I can't enjoy the thing that we are good at and I can't enjoy the great things around me because I'm burdened by this - I've got to not blame anyone else and make some changes." - BANG Showbiz
