Kelly Clarkson has inked a deal with NBC for her own daytime talk show.

The 'Since U Been Gone' hitmaker has reportedly inked a deal with NBC Entertainment to front her own programme and, although nothing has been announced as of yet, it's believed she's already started filming a pilot.

It's believed the show - which is currently untitled - will debut in the autumn 2019 providing the pilot is a success but all other details, including who else is attached to the project, are being kept under wraps for now, according to 'The Hollywood Reporter'.

Kelly's new television gig comes just months after she revealed her 40lb weight loss.

She said: "I'm not working out! I think people think I'm working out and I'm like, 'Don't think I'm going to come play some sport!' Literally, I haven't worked out at all!"

The 36-year-old musician also swears by the book 'The Plant Paradox' by Steven R. Gundry as she's been able to stop taking her medication for her thyroid "issue" by following the tips he's outlined in his tome.

She explained: "I literally read this book, and I did it for this autoimmune disease that I had and I had a thyroid issue, and now all my levels are back up. I'm not on medicine anymore because of this book. It's basically about how we cook our food, non-GMO, no pesticides, eating really organic."

Kelly has also vowed never to be afraid to show people what she "really looks like" because "everybody" has their flaws.

She said: "[Full hair and make-up] is actual fake news. I think that sometimes Hollywood can be very 'Oh, we don't want people to see what we really look like. That'll be the death of you or something.' And it's like, 'Whatever!' Everybody poops. Everybody burps. Everybody's the same."
