Khloé Kardashian “feared” Lamar Odom would end up in hospital.
The 'Keeping Up With The Kardashians' star was reportedly worried her estranged husband, who is currently being treated in hospital after a four-day drink and drug fuelled binge, would find himself in a difficult situation one day.
A source told PEOPLE magazine: “This is exactly what she feared. Everyone is hoping that this will be a reality check for him and that he will make a change in his life and be the man he was created to be.”
Meanwhile, it was previously revealed that the 35-year-old basketball player may need to have a kidney transplant.
A source claimed the star is undergoing heavy dialysis, where a machine artificially removes waste from the body, a job the kidneys would usually do, as “his kidneys are shot.”
However, his aunt JaNean Mercer is positive about his “miraculous progress”.
In a statement, she shared: “As Lamar begins a new chapter in his road to recovery, PLEASE continue to uplift him and the family in prayer. He continues to make miraculous progress, taking a few steps in Los Angeles. We couldn't be more overjoyed! We realize Lamar's continued improvement will not be easy, however his unrelenting strength and faith in GOD will pull him through. To everyone from across the nation and around the world who continued to send your love and prayers, we THANK YOU sincerely. (sic)”
Khloé Kardashian doesn't want to "make any big moves" during Lamar Odom's recovery.
The 31-year-old star officially called off her divorce from the 35-year-old athlete because she felt it was "the most sensible thing to do."
A source close to the 'Keeping Up with the Kardashians' beauty told UsMagazine.com: "This is a very delicate and difficult time for both Lamar and Khloé, and the most sensible thing to do at such a time is not make any big moves and put everything on hold. So that's what she is doing."
The couple split in December 2013 after four years of marriage, but only signed their divorce papers in July and were waiting for the judge to make it official before requesting their case be dismissed today.
Another insider previously claimed the duo have decided to rekindle their relationship.
Meanwhile, Jonanthan Cheban, who is best friends with Khloé's sister Kim Kardashian West, is shocked by how well Lamar is doing since emerging from a coma late last week.
