Reality TV star Kim Kardashian West is back at the White House on Wednesday, TMZ reports. Vanity Fair has some of the agenda items: Kardashian "will participate in a listening session on clemency and prison reform, along with senior adviser and First Son-in-Law, Jared Kushner, according to a person familiar with the plans."
Kardashian met with Trump in the Oval Office in May to urge him to grant a pardon to Alice Marie Johnson, a 63-year-old great-grandmother imprisoned in 1996, who was serving a life sentence for a first-time, nonviolent drug offence. Kardashian's efforts paid off, and Trump later offered Johnson a presidential pardon.
This time, Kardashian's cause celeb seems to be Chris Young, who is 10 years into his life sentence for cocaine and marijuana possession. It seems she's giving the matter a serious push - per Vanity Fair, "Kardashian has been in near daily contact with Kushner or White House staff members to push for more names."
