In April, the International Association of Athletics Federations (IAAF) announced the decision to introduce new regulations for athletes with hyperandrogenism. Many people thought the rule change was designed specifically to target Semenya.

The new regulations will require Semenya to take medication to lower her higher levels of testosterone.

Despite all that, Semenya continued to slay on and off the track, she joined the Nike “Greats” viral campaign with renowned athletes by the likes of Serena Williams and Colin Kaepernick.

Semenya even got an opportunity to meet her idol, Lebron James.
